This article is for customers whose current email provider is ending its email service and who have not already subscribed to Everymail.
Your email provider has partnered with Everymail to give eligible customers the option to keep their current email address and transfer their existing mailbox to Everymail. To use this option, you must subscribe to Everymail within the subscription period specified by your current email provider.
What to Expect
1. Notification from your email provider
Your email provider will notify you—or may have already notified you—by email and through other communication channels that it is ending its email service.
These communications will include important information about the transition, including:
When the Everymail subscription period opens and closes
The available Everymail subscription plans
The date your current provider will end its email service
The steps you must take to move to Everymail
Please refer to the most recent communication from your email provider for the dates and instructions that apply to your account.
2. Subscription plans
To keep your current email address and move your mailbox to Everymail, you must subscribe during the subscription period specified by your email provider.
If you are the account owner, you will act as the account administrator. As the administrator, you can select the mailboxes you want to subscribe to and choose either a monthly or annual Everymail subscription plan.
If your subscription period has already ended, you may no longer be able to move your email address or mailbox to Everymail.
3. If you do not subscribe
If you do not subscribe to Everymail before the deadline provided by your email provider, your current provider will discontinue your email service. You will no longer have access to your email address or existing mailbox.
4. Downloading your email data
If you do not want to move your email to Everymail, you should download or export your existing email data before your current provider ends its service. You can then take that data with you when moving to another email provider.
Contact your current email provider if you need assistance downloading or exporting your email data.
5. Loss of access and possible data deletion
Your email provider will let you know when it plans to end your email service.
Once the service ends, you will no longer be able to access your email address or mailbox. In some cases, your email data may also be permanently deleted by your current provider. Make sure you subscribe to Everymail or download any email data you want to keep before the deadline stated in your provider’s communications.
