Encrypting Files

Everymail Drive (How do I know if I have Drive?)

To Encrypt a File on Drive

In Drive, select the file you'd like to encrypt

Click More actions in the toolbar

Select Encrypt from the drop-down menu
To Encrypt a File as you Upload
- In Drive, click the New button
- Choose Upload file (encrypted)
- Select the file(s) you want to upload
- Click Open
OR

Open Drive
- Drag the file(s) from your operating system onto the Drive window
- Release in the lower half of the window, where you see the text:
Drop files here to encrypt
NOTE: You can verify that your file is encrypted by the
Lock icon next to the file.
To Open an Encrypted File

Double-click on the file

Enter your Guard password
- (optional) Set how long before Everymail will Ask for password again

Click Confirm
