Adding an existing email account to Webmail
⚠️ Important Note
This article refers to adding email addresses that already exist, so that they will be visible in Webmail alongside your main Everymail email address. For help adding new email addresses to your subscription, please see:
Adding Email Addresses to your Subscription.
Why Add Email Accounts to Webmail?
You can add one or more email addresses to your settings in webmail, so you can see email from all your different email addresses inside one Everymail Webmail view.
What Kind of Email Accounts Can I Add?
-
You can add email addresses from any email provider that supports Internet standard protocols for email, known as:
-
IMAP (for receiving email) and
-
SMTP (for sending email)
-
-
While many large corporations who provide email, like Google, no longer support these Internet standards, many email providers do. It is up to the email provider to support this or not.
-
If you have more than one Everymail email address, you can add some or all of them together in one Webmail view!
Adding an Account to Everymail Webmail
- Click the
Settings icon in the menu bar - Click All settings ...
- In the pop-up window, click Accounts on the left
- Click Add email account
- Type the address you want to add under Your email address
- Type the password for the email you just typed under Your password
- Click Add
Most of the time this will be enough to connect, and you'll see your added email address appear in the list of Your Accounts on the Settings popup window.
Email addresses added like this will show up on the left side under the inbox and other folders of your main Everymail email address.
